A call facilitator inputs an accounting code to ensure that the call is traceable to a department, branch, cost center or other accounting entity. Now, users can pre-load their proprietary chart of accounts to the system. The code entered by a call facilitator can be validated against this master list, ensuring that only valid codes are entered. A valid code must be entered for the call to proceed. Two other refined reporting capabilities include the option to require the entry of multiple accounting codes prior to call initiation as well as the ability to create expiring accounting codes which are valid only for a specified time period.
