The Evolution of the CD Player
I was not tempted to rush right out and purchase a CD player when it first became popular. I was hesitant to do so because I was used to listening to cassette tapes. I changed my mind when I began listening to a local band that I really liked. However, their music was only available on CD. I decided at that point that it was time to go out and buy something that could play both a CD and an audiotape.
