Probability and statistics
In order to graduate from high school or college these days, you’re most likely going to have to take a probability and statistics course at some point along the way. Even if you’re good with numbers, this is one of the more difficult math disciplines out there. The terminology is confusing, and there is extensive use of word problems, which many people have trouble translating into numerical equations. As a result, you might find yourself in need of extra tutoring help outside the classroom. Years and years ago, this would mean having to buddy up with the class nerd and attending study groups at the library.
