Configuration Manager – A Managerial Tool For The Machine
As a manager is responsible for managing the events, the same way goes for the term Configuration Manager in computer world. There are Software Configuration Manager, Hardware Configuration Manager and Operational Manger. For example, software configuration manager is responsible for identifying the products that are most likely to change and providing the mechanism for making the things work even if the product’s version differs. A configuration Manager is responsible for managing software and hardware, containing all relevant information and making them work together. Managing the resources and providing with the functionality that the user can change the settings according to his desire is the main functionality to be provided by a configuration manager tool.
