Googleing South Dakota
Computers are getting better and better and the search engines are keeping up. Back when I first started using search engines I could spend hours finding the information that I was looking for and maybe not finding, but last week I was researching South Dakota tourism and I simply typed in those three words and found the needed material on the third hit. I never click on the paid advertiser portion of the screen, in my experience I have never found what I wanted there. If I get what I want on the first click, I consider myself lucky. My way of doing searches involves opening each new website in a new tab, that way I have all my results still up when I don’t have what I want on the first go round. Another trick I have learned is to search for one key word such as South Dakota. After this search I have all kinds of hits, so I go to the spot that says “search within these results†and type my second word, in this case “tourismâ€. What that does is to weed out any South Dakota hits that don’t have the word tourism in them. This often works better than placing all the key words in the initial search.
