Video Games and Surgeons
Did you know that surgeons are now using video games to train with for laparoscopic surgery? In studies, surgeons with experience playing video games scored higher with their laparoscopic surgery skills than surgeons with no experience. The surgeons with the most experience playing video games made fewer mistakes and were overall faster with their procedures. These were only simulated surgeries, but these studies show that video games are not just for kids anymore.
