Is Your VoIP Blocked?
Many foreign governments have blocked VoIP services. For anyone planning to travel or move outside of the United States, you need to be aware that your VoIP may be blocked or crippled by your ISP – which is generally under direct government oversight, depending on the country.

McNamara and Cornell will detail how and why various foreign governments have chosen to block VoIP and intend provide methods to work around these filters using Asterisk and IAX.
