 If you weight train or compete in a sport, strengthening the lower back is very important. The lower back muscles, along with the abdominals and obliques, make up the body’s core, and building strength there will help in just about anything you do. Lower back workouts will help give you that core strength and help you avoid injuries as well. The best exercises to have in a lower back training routine are deadlifts, hyperextensions, and good mornings.
