Loan Modification Worked for Me
When I found out that the interest rate on my mortgage was going up AGAIN I was pretty worried. It was already high enough that it was tough for me to make the payments each month. And, sure enough, when I crunched some numbers I found that there was no way I could afford payments with the new interest rate. The adjustable rate mortgage seemed like a good idea when I first bought my house, but it definitely wasn’t working any more. I found out about the possibility of loan modification online and it was exactly what I needed. I called my lender and we worked out changing my loan to a fixed-rate loan that made my monthly payments into something I could afford. What a relief. If I hadn’t found this article online there’s no way I would have known what help to request from my lender. I doubt they would have offered this great loan modification if I hadn’t known to ask for it!
