Panasonic DMP-BD60 Blu-ray Player

Panasonic, known for its push towards plasma technology, has always been at the cutting edge of Blu-ray technology. Its latest blu-ray disc players looks to push the boundaries even further.

The DMP-BD60 is the entry-level player in the company’s latest three-strong line-up - which also includes the step-up Panasonic DMP-BD80 and the DMP-BD70V Blu-ray/VHS combi. The DMP-BD60 is the follow-up to the DMP-BD35, offering nearly the same feature set plus access to VieraCast, Panasonic’s proprietary video content portal. The player comes with Profile 2.0 and all the high definition audio decoding out of the box. In this respect, the DMP-BD60 resembles the newly released Samsung BD-P1600.
