HP 60xl cartridges finally available
Consumers have been clamoring for the HP 60xl high capacity cartridges, and for good reason.
The OEM (Original equipment manufacturer) cartridges have been on the market since about April of
2008, but now the HP 60xl remanufactured cartridges are starting to become available.
The high yield HP 60xl (black and color) cartridges promise double or triple the ink volume of the standard hp 60 series black or color cartridges.
Although the high capacity title is a much better value, (HP 60 value comparison) older HP cartridges like the HP 56 promise the same volume of black but without the “High capacity” marketing.
What really happened is a re-marketing of the existing cartridge from 5 years ago (the HP 56) to be reborn as “high capacity” HP 60xl today.
The real change is the cut ink volume on the standard Hp 60 so unless you only print a couple times a year, the “XL” is the better choice.
