Alot of laptops come with webcameras these days but you will see that alot of them the quality isn’t very good. Some of them give pictures that are grainy and blurry so unfortuneatly you may have to buy a seperate one.

I don’t know about you but I’m one of those people that before I purchase anything to do with computers I look around on the net for a little info from people that already have the device.

So when I decided to look real hard at the Toshiba Docking Station known as the Dynadock, mostly what I found was positive.

There’s the usual conflicts with drivers unless you have the latest one that can be found at the Toshiba website. There’s a little setup time of getting all your ducks in a row but for the most part, what I could find it was good.

My main need is the USB connectivity for my laptops docking station. The ability to plug and go and get the work done. Of course having the option for 3 screens is excellent but I don’t do a lot of video editing. Maybe the gamers will love this feature.

The more I use my latest laptop I really enjoy the ability to move around the house and also I can unplug from the house AC and use the battery.

My new one lasts quite awhile and when the power goes off or starts blinking I don’t have to worry about lost data. But I must admit if I have a lot of work to do the small screen starts causing too much scrolling and the flat keyboard slows down the typing sometimes.

A computer buddy suggested a port replicator or what I now call my laptops docking station. This has been a nice addition and really expanded the functionality of my new notebook.

Now with just a couple of wires to plug in I can use my nice 22 inch monitor and also any other peripheral I may have like the printer or my USB external hard drive.
