Samsung Begins Production of 3D HDTVs

Samsung said recently that they will be producing 3D HDTVs on a large scale. They have launched a rather impressive list of 3D HDTVs at the recent CES in Las Vegas. Samsung stated they will be producing 3 sizes initially, in 40-inch, 46-inch, and 55-inch versions employing Samsung’s exclusive true 240Hz technology. Samsung’s true 240Hz technology delivers full-HD viewing in 2D, and also smooth, natural, full-HD 3D images that can vividly capture rapid movements.

You will need active 3D glasses to enjoy 3D playback. The polarized glass method previously used in 3D glasses produced separate images for the left and right eyes, resulting in half the resolution of two-dimensional pictures as only half of the screen can be viewed through each polarized filter.

Samsung UN46b8000 LED HDTV Review

Plasma used to be the standard of image quality for HDTV, but I don’t think that is the case any more. In the beginning LCD displays used to be slow and the blacks weren’t really black. Today, you are finding even LCD displays are preferred over plasma screens. The downside of plasma screens are their relatively short life span.

Your purchasing choices have been made simpler, because you can’t make a mistake in choosing a Samsung LED TV. I’m assuming here that you are interested in the best image quality. You’ll find the top of the line LED models are affordable.

Cool Television Commercials

When it comes to television commercials, you cannot please my husband. There is nothing he considers entertaining about a television commercial, and he will tell you about it every single chance he gets. He watches the Super Bowl commercials with much anticipation, because he says those are made to entertain. The rest of the television commercials you see throughout the year are just meant to annoy. They can be annoying, but they also serve a purpose, and are very effective. Perhaps that is why there are so many of them, and why so many companies produce them over and over again. TVs, HDTVs, LCD, Plasma, DLP, & more.

Flat panel LCD televisions

The TV has simply become part of our lifestyle. We depend on these entertainment sources every day, whether it be for current events or sporting events. The great thing is, they always continue to upgrade. When it comes to our home entertainment, we certainly pull out all the stops. A prime example of what I mean are the flat panel lcd televisions. 32 inch television

I recently went shopping for a new television and I was surprised by how the
measurements worked out. I naturally assumed that a television screen would be square so a 32 inch television would be thirty-two inches going up and down as well as left and right. Of course, I measured to make sure that my entertainment center would accommodate the new TV. When I arrived at the electronics store I kind-of had a feeling that the televisions were just a tad smaller than I had measured. I’m not the best when it comes to eyeing things up so I like to make sure by carrying a
measuring tape with me. This is a good practice if you are buying things for your home. A good measuring tape can save you a lot of hassles in the future because you are certain that you can fit the furniture into your home.

Understanding The Basics Of LCD Televisions

When LCD TVs were first introduced, their major competition was the plasma TV. LCD and plasma televisions coexist and compete even today. Each has its own merits and demerits. Sharp Television: A Staple in The Multimedia Industry

I am a big fan of many different brands of televisions including Sony, Panasonic, and Samsung. Another favorite of mine is Sharp for their high quality televisions.

I’m a long time user of Sharp televisions, and I’ve always been very happy with them. In fact the only three television brands that I can recall ever owning are Sharp, Sony, and Emerson, and the Sharp televisions I’ve had lasted the longest.

The Sony I owned eventually died on me, but I think that was mostly because I owned it through college, carted it around in my car a lot, and generally treated it like crap. The little Emerson 13 inch I bought as my very first television actually still works okay, but Emerson as a company just isn’t nearly as prolific as Sharp, and doesn’t have nearly as many models available in the television market.
