I’m not sure about all of you, but I’m sure we’ve all visited websites where we’ve seen their claims of what they are offering and they haven’t been what they are cracked out to be. I’m always very skeptical, I’m not a fan of these websites, I’m very wary of them and I barely ever will take the time to make a comment or write something about a website as well. That is until I came across Traffic Kahuna. At first I wondered if it was real, I mean really how often do we see the option of ‘Promises’ to bring in traffic. You want to design a website and host it? Hosting your site complicates things, but it gives you far more control and a lot more flexibility. You’ll also be able to get your own domain name, rather than mysite.somefreeserver.com.

As far as building sites go, I’ll make four suggestions, briefly detailed below. All will require some effort and practice.

1. Set up a wordpress blog on your own host. Get a host that supports cpanel and fantastico. You get a quick and easy install of Wordpress that way, then you tweak the blog and start adding content.
2. Get a program like XsitePro. It makes layout clean and easy, you don’t have to know code, and it’s trivial to make a nice looking site. It comes with a very easy to follow tutorial.
3. Get an Online site builder program like Site Rubix. The builder may be even easier than XsitePro, it’s online, comes with hosting and a pile of other goodies.
4. Build it from scratch. Buy a copy of a full blown site building program, such as Dreamwever, learn HTML and CSS (which isn’t trivial,) pick up some good books on website design (there’s a Dummy’s book that covers it) and you’ll eventually be able to build a killer site.

It’s not an easy decision when it comes to choosing Niche Annihilation or Affiliate X-Factor? But, one thing to note is that both courses are very much different from one another. In the last couple of weeks we’ve had the launch of the fantastic Niche Annihilation Method by Rob Benwell which I was proud to promote, as it is a course I really felt helps people very much with learning to market online. If you want to learn to write web pages, you can start with a html text editor. You can look up html tutorials on the internet, to learn how to use HTML code. For your new site, to get a good ranking with search engines you may need to avoid flashy graphics and large images. Instead, include a small number of images with lots of text, full of keywords relevant to your site. Once you start your site, you can add more content and if you keep changing and adding to your content over a period of time, you should get a good ranking in the search engines.
